INGREDIENTS:

  • Vitamin B3 (as nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide): Vitamin B3 when metabolized, its metabolites serve as co-enzymes to transfer energy stored in carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. One of these metabolites, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a precursor for ATP production, a nucleotide extensively involved in cellular metabolism and energy.
  • Vitamin B5 (as calcium D-pantothenate): Vitamin B5 is essential for the production of energy (via the Krebs Cycle), the synthesis of adrenal hormones, protein metabolism, and wound healing.
  • Folate (as 5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid): Folate (folic acid) is an essential B vitamin needed by the body to produce and maintain new cells, as well as for the creation of DNA and RNA.
  • Vitamin B-12 (as methylcobalamin): Vitamin B-12 is an essential B vitamin for carbohydrate metabolism and energy productio It also plays an important role in the formation of healthy red blood cells.
  • Biotin: Biotin, like the other B vitamins, helps your body make energy. Biotin works with carboxylase enzymes, ATP, and magnesium to use carbon dioxide to help make fatty acids. Biotin also helps make proteins and purines. Biotin helps your body break down carbohydrates and the amino acid tryptophan.
  • Magnesium (as magnesium aspartate): Magnesium in your body creates energy by activating adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the fundamental unit of energy within the body’s cells.Without proper levels of magnesium, the nutrients that you take in through food and supplements would not be metabolized into energy. A study published in the Journal of Nutrition revealed that low levels of magnesium may disrupt the body’s ability to efficiently use energy stores.  The researchers assessed postmenopausal women during a cycling exercise in relation to the amount of dietary magnesium that they were consuming. The results showed that women who had low magnesium levels had higher oxygen use and higher heart rates during the cycling exercise. This suggests that the women with low levels of magnesium required more oxygen to do the physical task. Ultimately, their bodies were working harder and over time had them feeling more depleted.
  • Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALCAR): Acetyl L-Carnitine shuttles fuel in the form of fatty acids to your muscles mitochondria, which ramps up your energy production and can increase endurance. ALCAR also pushes your metabolism toward fat burning your bodies greatest source of fuel. ALCAR is an anti-aging nootropic, or smart drug, meaning, it helps your brain perform better. Theacetyl group on it lets it pass your blood-brain barrier and reach your brain and nerves, where it can improve your mood, learning, and memory.
  • Trimethylglycine (as betaine anhydrous): Trimethylglycine (TMG) can be made in the body naturally via oxidation of choline-containing compounds. One of its primary functions in the body is to act as an osmolyte and increase water retention of cells. It migrates in and out of cells to preserve cellular hydration state. Like creatine, a higher cellular trimethylglycine concentration can help preserve cell structure and make the cell more resilient to stress. TMG has been shown to enhance endurance allowing for more bench press reps, extended sprint capacity and more cycling power.
  • Cordyceps sinensis (CS-4 Strain): Cordyceps sinensis are thought to increase the body’s production of the molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is essential for delivering energy to the muscles. This may improve the way your body uses oxygen, especially during exercise. In one study, researchers tested their effects on exercise capacity in 30 healthy older adults using a stationary bike. Participants received either 3 grams per day of a synthetic strain of Cordyceps sinensis called CS-4 or a placebo pill for six weeks. By the end of the study, VO2 max had increased by 7% in participants who had taken CS-4, while participants given the placebo pill showed no change.
  • Alpha GPC (L-alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine): Alpha GPC is a type of choline that’s produced in small amounts in your body. You can also get it from eating organ meats, dairy and wheat germ. You need choline for the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. And to form phosphatidylcholine (PC), used in building cell membranes. Alpha GPC is used throughout your body. It even helps the production of human growth hormone. Athletes use it for peak performance, and to help build lean muscle mass. It provides more energy for a workout and quicker recovery.
  • Coenzyme Q10 (as Ubiquinol): Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a molecule found in nearly every cell in the body. It is fat-soluble, meaning that it dissolves in fatsbut not water. CoQ10 stimulates the cell’s powerhouse, an organelle called the mitochondria, to produce more energy in the form of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). More specifically, it speeds up the process called the electron transport chain which produces 95% of the cell’s ATP. By doing this, it helps the body use food more efficiently for energy. Additionally, CoQ10 serves as an antioxidant in both the mitochondria and cell membranes by preventing the degradation of these cellular parts.
  • Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride: Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride also known as Nicotinamide Riboside (NR), is a unique member of the vitamin B3 family. Cells can use NR to create nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), which is an essential molecule found in every living cell. NAD+ enables cells to generate cellular energy from the food that we eat.
  • Ashwagandha Root Extract (Withania somnifera): Ashwagandha has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine and it is well-known for its rejuvenating andadaptogenic properties. It is effective in regulating hormones and the immune system, relieving stress, increasing energy levels and improving concentration. Ashwagandha supplementation is also associated with an increase in muscle mass and strength. A clinical study with young men with little experience in resistance training, showed that taking Ashwagandha daily for a period of 8 weeks combined with resistance training resulted in a significant increase in muscle mass and strength.
  • Rhodiola rosea: Rhodiola rosea has shown in studies to enhance physical performance before exercise or as a way to improve concentration and thinking. A studyin 2009 found that women who took a high dose of Rhodiola rosea were able to run faster than those who got a placebo. The study examined 15 college-age women. Another study suggests that taking a standardized extract of Rhodiola rosea may improve concentration and reduce fatigue.
  • PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt): PQQ acts as a cofactor, or enzyme booster, in the REDOX process (Reduction Oxidation). Because of its involvement in REDOX,  PQQ offers certain anti-oxidative effects. Most notable is PQQ’s impact on mitochondria. Mitochondria provide our cells with energy (ATP) and regulate cellular metabolism. Researchers have looked extensively at the impact PPQ has on mitochondria and have found that PQQ can increase the number of mitochondria and even improve their efficiency. This is a big reason why PPQ is so beneficial.
